Abstract

Cyrus proposes incorporating more human rights education into the United States' education system, beginning at an early level. By starting with education, the United States could adopt a stronger stance on universal human needs, which includes human rights such as education and vital necessities, into its foreign policies. With a stronger dedication to human rights in U.S' foreign policies, the country could better prevent/lessen the effect of genocides, such as in the one in Darfur. [Abstract by editor]
